A few weeks ago I had the honor of traveling to Fort Wayne, IN to watch the documentary “It’s a Girl!” with Invisible Girl Project (IGP). Brad & Jill McElya started this organization while living in India. Their hearts are to protect, rescue, educate, cloth, nourish, and honor the girls in India, many of which are killed upon delivery or before birth. I’m excited to share with you that IGP is going to be hosting another viewing of this movie along with a time of film, justice and worship at Common Ground Christian Church!!!!! And because I partner with this organization and love their mission, I want to share this information with you! My daughter and I are huge advocates for these girls. I hope to see you there! Here’s the details:
Come, see what is really going on in India! Join with Kylie and I in helping save the lives of precious little girls who are regarded as worthless in their culture. Join us in sponsoring girls at the Home of Love orphanage and supporting this mission to find 50 million girls who are invisible– missing in India. Come support these girls in prayer as truth is revealed about the three deadliest words in most parts of the world…”It’s a Girl.”
Please go to the IGP Facebook page & website to find out how you can get involved! To watch a trailer of the documentary go to http://www.itsagirlmovie.com/.
Here’s a glimpse at what you will see on the night of

Brad & Jill McElya…doing amazing work for the girls in India!

Worship led by Chris Wilson

This 1 hr documentary is humbling and heartbreaking.

The thing that struck me the most during the film was how the Moms and daughters interacted. It’s hard to watch this movie and not embrace your children a little tighter. The truth hurts. And here in America, it makes us grateful for our freedom and our rights as females. Watching this dynamic was one of the most compelling and moving testimonies from the film. I saw a deepening of relationships and love overflowing from deep within. “It’s a Girl!” is captivating and impacting.

“Just Pop In” donated tins of popcorn to raise money for IGP at the movie viewings. They have dolls made by women in India and shirts to increase awareness. AND rumor has it some copies of the “It’s a Girl” DVD will be available this Saturday to purchase as well.

Come worship with me this Saturday. I’d love to see you there!!

The screen says it all…”Can you imagine…someone pressuring you to kill your own daughter?” Chris Wilson has an amazing talent and will be leading a few songs of worship after the movie is shown.
